Our viewpoint “hero view” was elected the most beautiful viewpoint on the Moselle in 2020
Enjoy a breathtaking view on steep slopes and the beautiful Moselle valley here in Lieser. In an election in 2020, Lieser was nominated as one of 48 beautiful viewpoints located in the different German wine regions. About 10.500 participants voted for their favorite viewpoint online – out of 13 different wine regions. Our “Heldensicht Lieser” got the first prize for the wine region Moselle. We are very happy about this success and want to thank all of the people who voted for our amazing viewpoint.
The German Wine Institute on the “Heldensicht”:
Right above the village of Lieser, from the elected viewpoint, you can recognize the Moselle’s unique scenic development. The ice age and the elevation of the 400 million old Rhenish slate mountains led the Moselle to always new breakthroughs.
